I want this to be a place where I can kind of just dump tracks that I’ve written. Quality will vary… I don’t care about selling any of the music on this website, download links are available so feel free to listen to them just don’t resell them please! If you want to use any of them in something commercial let me know.

Allez Used a fencing sample. I’m particularly proud of the second drop in this one. I think the biggest issue is that I’m still not super great with 808s. But I’m learning.
Imation RW Not 100% on this one but every time I open it I can’t think of anything to change about it. If I ever do I’ll make a v2, but for now this is all.
Bush Vs Fish Two things happened at once for this song to happen. 1. I saw someone showing a demo for a game about a squid underwater. I thought atmospheric dnb would fit the mood really nicely. So the first minute or so of this song was what I made as an example for that. I think they wanted to go a different direction. I don’t really care because it got me making this. 2. I saw a really old Bill Bailey bit where he uses George Bush samples over drum and bush (Drum and Bush). I wanted to do that too and it was so fun.
Got Something Trying to write some spookier music. Capturing what might happen if you had a funk band playing a show in silent hill. I have another song similar in vibe to this and while I really like both of them, I’’m not sure exactly what to do to develop them. So, again, this one is kinda half baked but I’m still quite proud of it.
Old Keys This is the first track I have properly written on my own in a few years. It’s made me excited to write music again which I haven’t really felt in a while. I think the middle is kind of half baked but I wanted to get it out and not sit around tweaking things for ever and ever. I am very proud of the return of the A section though.
Cave In This was the last track I wrote using Ardour. I remember finding its midi support absolutely dreadful and hated working with it. So, for this track I use my old yamaha piano and recorded myself playing the melody to this using an e-piano sound on the keyboard. I then recorded the pianos headphone jack output in the daw. I also recorded the midi output of it and plugged that into a synth that sounded kind of like rhodes. I then recorded myself playing some bass to add some finishing touches.
No Channels (Previously Fight1) This song is a re-imagining of a song that I made between 2020 and 2022 (I can’t remember). I will also list that song on here to compare. This version is more funky with more interesting drums and live bass. This version is a little rough around the edges, some of the bass playing isn’t super great but I thought I should just get something on this site before I spiral into the end of time making lateral improvements. The original song was for a game project with some other people that seemed to fizzle out. For now this song has no purpose. I would like to include it in a game but that would require finishing one.
Check Your Bins I wrote this track in 2022 when I was just messing around with a synth plug-in and my little midi keyboard, just sliding the pitch bend up and down. It came out very nicely I think and is a simple little track. The name comes from my friend and I walking down the street late at night and coming up with our own terrible analogue horror where there would be something in your bin. It was dumb, anyway this would be the track that plays on the info video about that.
Fight1 This is the original song that No Channels is based on. It’s got some good bits and I still think I prefer the synth at the start of this version to the new version. The mixing is a bit wonky, the snare is way too loud. At the time I was using lmms which I never really did any mixing in whatsoever. I am still proud of this song I think it’s the most refined piece I made with lmms before moving onto Ardour and then FL studio.
Tibet I wrote this piece for a jazz workshop I went on in August 2022 called Sound and Music Summer School. We had a week to write a piece for 6 professional jazz musicians, during which time we would be mentored to build on our ideas and make them into good pieces. I had a massive inferiority complex during this time, I felt that most of the other people (all a similar age) were way more experienced and talented then I am. At the time I was really quite proud of this piece and the musicians who performed it did an incredible job at making it sound even better, giving it little licks and embellishments. Now though, I’m disappointed that I wasted my potentially only opportunity to ever write for professional musicians to make them play Muzak. Although writing that out now that actually seems kind of funny. The name of the piece comes from the fact that I felt this piece built up, stayed flat and then died back away again, so I was going to call it Plateau but that makes it sound like it gets boring in the middle so I named it after a place with lots of plateaus instead.
Bigger Picture This is another one from 2021 (I’m sure this time) This was one of my GCSE compositions. I wrote it in year 10. At the time I was just starting to get a little bit into jazz. I’m talking real mild stuff, basically whatever youtube showed me. I really liked that film noir style jazz. This piece is influenced, instrumentation-wise, by the theme to L.A. Noire. I think it has some good elements and I think the marimba section starts out really good, although it does sort of run out of ideas. Also, on the return of the melody my teacher told me I needed to change it up a little bit to stop it being too repetitive, so I introduced a ii-V progression and by introduced I mean jammed it in where it didn’t fit. Whatever.
